I'm glad you're here.
We could all use extra support at times. All sorts of things can lead to feeling "stuck" - grief, over-thinking, burnout, relationship stress, anxiety, people-pleasing, trauma, attachment wounds, perfectionism, or even the weather. You may need to work something out, get grounded, or just feel understood & heard. I'm here to help identify the patterns wearing on you and find ways forward. I support individuals in feeling calmer, more confident, and more secure in themselves and their relationships. I use a person-centered approach combined with dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and bring warmth, empathy, and honesty to sessions.
I'll help you find ways to feel better in your day-to-day life and to explore how past experiences have impacted the person you are now. My specialties and lived experience include anxiety, loss, self-esteem, religious trauma, people-pleasing, divorce, and emotional abuse. It really is my joy and privilege to support you in navigating life's ebbs and flows.
Whether you're trying therapy for the first time or returning to it, you're invited to come as you are. Finding the right fit can be a challenge, so I'm happy to chat with you before we fully dive in. I believe therapy should be accessible and therefore offer sliding scale rates. Please feel free to ask about this if cost is a barrier to care.
